Kenny Chesney will be the first Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival artist to receive the Ocean Legacy Award at the 13th annual festival on April 12, 2026.
Founded by Chris Stacey, Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival has ocean conservation embedded into every aspect of the festival. For example each fan that has purchased a ticket is supporting the mission of Rock The Ocean to raise funds and awareness for ocean conservation. Since inception more than $6 million have been raised to support ocean conservation efforts.
Kenny who headlined the first festival back in 2013, and coming back in 2026 to perform for the 6th time, embodies Rock The Ocean’s mission, from simply his lifestyle to his music. “To me, when people can come together to learn about the ocean, how to treat it and have a great time with their friends, that’s a total win,” adds Chesney”
