SUMMARY:Sunrise at Sexton Beach Cleanup with Coastal Connections
DESCRIPTION:Join our Conservation Village Partner\, Coastal Connections\, for their Sunrise at Sexton Beach Cleanup! \nJoin CCinc’s Vero Goes Zero cleanup team on the first Wednesday of each month\, from October to May\, as they remove debris from the most populated beachfront zone of Indian River County! Their cleanup team meets at 7:30 am at Sexton Plaza (1050 Beachland Blvd.) to remove marine debris from a section of the beach before exiting and walking along the roadways and parking lots beside shops\, hotels\, and restaurants\, cleaning up debris that would otherwise pollute the island’s stormwater drains that flow directly to the ocean and onto our beaches. \n***Cleanup is outdoors and will only occur weather permitting*** If you have been interested in volunteering with CCinc\, this is a perfect way to get plugged in and meet our team! There is no weekly commitment; there is just a need for passionate community members wanting to give back and keep our beaches clean for people and wildlife to enjoy. Look for people in Coastal Connections T-shirts to get signed in. ***If raining or under extreme surf\, the cleanup will not occur for the safety of volunteers*** \nSunrise at Sexton\nWednesday\, October 7\, 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM\nSexton Plaza\, 1050 Beachland Blvd
