SUMMARY:Sunrise at Sexton Coastal Cleanup Sponsored by Rock The Ocean
DESCRIPTION:Rock The Ocean is teaming up with our Conservation Partners Coastal Connections\, Inc. for our October beach cleanup! \nCome out Wednesday\, October 2 at 7:00 am EST to help our Coastal Connections Crew clean the most populated beachfront zone of Indian River County. \nMeet at Sexton Plaza Beach and look for people in purple Coastal Connections t-shirts to get all set up! You will then walk along Ocean Drive beside the hotels and restaurants\, cleaning the roadways and parking lots that would otherwise pollute the stormwater drains that flow directly to the ocean and onto our beaches. \nIf you have been interested in volunteering with CCinc (Coastal Connections\, Inc)\, this is a perfect way to get plugged in and meet their team! There is no weekly commitment\, just a need for passionate community members wanting to give back and keep our beaches clean for people and wildlife to enjoy. \n***Cleanup is outdoors and will only occur weather permitting. If raining or under extreme surf\, the cleanup will not occur for the safety of volunteers***
