DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT: \nRock The Ocean is sponsoring a sea turtle hatchling event with Nova Southeastern University’s Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program. \nCome join NSU Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program Sea Turtle Specialists for a hatchling release! This is truly a one-of-a-kind experience! Learn about sea turtle conservation in South Florida and see how sea turtles start their life.\n**No artificial lights\, cameras\, or video equipment are permitted at the release site.** \n50 guests will begin the evening at the beautiful NSU Oceanographic Center in Dania Beach\, with a presentation given by one of their sea turtle specialists\, providing guests with a thorough overview of sea turtle biology and the conservation program. Immediately following the presentation\, guests will meet on the beach in Hollywood to witness a sea turtle hatchling release. \nEVENT ADDRESS:\n8000 N Ocean Dr.Dania Beach\, FL 33004 \n** The presentation will take place inside the Guy Harvey Oceanographic Center\, in the 3rd floor auditorium. Our campus is located at the far north end of Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park (notify gate attendant you are attending an event at NSU) on the west side of the road between the Coast Guard and Navy. All guests must attend the presentation prior to the release. \nCost: $10.00/ticket\nCLICK HERE or the link below to purchase a ticket – THIS EVENT WILL SELL OUT. \nAll proceeds from tickets purchased for hatchling releases go directly toward furthering sea turtle conservation efforts at NSU. Because of this\, all proceeds are treated as donations to the sea turtle program\, and therefore no refunds will be given for any reason. Pre-registration and pre-payment are both required\, and no walk-ins are accepted.\nPLEASE NOTE: **Once capacity is reached\, reservations will no longer be available for that date. Resale of reservations is not permitted.
