DESCRIPTION:Happy International Coastal Cleanup Day! \nEvery year on the third Saturday in September we encourage people get out and join a community event to rid beaches of the garbage plaguing beaches. \nThe International Coastal Cleanup Day was created by The Ocean Conservancy in 1986 and we are excited to help spread awareness about preserving and protecting the world’s oceans and waterways. \nRock The Ocean was thrilled when asked to help host and plan a private event with the City of Fort Lauderdale Public Works Department and it so happened to be on International Coastal Cleanup Day!! \nAlthough our Rock The Ocean event is a not open to the public\, check out the links below for more information around cleanups happening in your area: \n\nOcean Conservancy Cleanup Map\nVolunteerCleanup.org \n\nWhen posting to your socials don’t forget to include the following: #RockTheOcean #SeaTheChange #CoastalCleanupDay\n
